Race day schedule

Pre-race preparation

A friendly reminder – Arrive early!

  • Registration on race day opens at 6:00 am and closes at 7:00 am.
  • Transition also closes at 7:00 am.

The mandatory pre-race meeting starts at 7:15 am.

That means you must register at the Registration tent (even if you pick up your race kit in advance) and have your bike racked and equipment ready by 7:00 am. Latecomers may not be allowed on the course.

Swim/Wetsuit decision

A decision on use of wetsuits for the swim is made at 6:45 (an hour before start). We’ll announce loud and clear whether wetsuits are mandatory (following Triathlon Manitoba rules), and, in extreme weather or safety conditions, the swim segment is replaced by a run. Athletes have the option of switching to a duathlon if their race is designated as wetsuit-mandatory.
