Triple Threat Team


If you are training for your first Triathlon/Duathlon or are an experienced athlete competing in Sprint and Olympic races, Triple Threat will provide you with great coaching and support to help you reach your goals.

New members are welcome anytime and can attend 3 weeks of complimentary workouts.

The 2016/17 training season starts up in November 2016 with indoor track workouts Wednesdays from 6 - 7:30 at the Max Bell track at the U of M campus and cycling workouts on Thursdays from 7-9 at a gym in the St Boniface area.

At the Triathlon Manitoba Awards on Oct 4, 2016, Triple Threat team mates received the following awards:

Janessa Klatt - Coach of the Year

David Markham - Michael Klatt Service Leadership Award

Heather McDonell - Overall 1st Place Female Athlete for the Grand Prix Series, Female Age Group Triathlete of the Year, 1st Place Grand Prix Series (Female 35-39), Award of Merit

Ruth Anne Penner - 2nd Place Grand Prix Series (Female 35-39)

Jordan Smith - 2nd Place Grand Prix Series (Male 18-24 ) and this was his very first year doing triathon!

Gerry Borus - Female 55-59 1st Place Grand Prix Series and Award of Merit
